Vanessa Simmons started selling Avon when she was 10 years old, so business is in her blood. Now, as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Vanessa is helping drive Pythian’s growth into one of the best data transformation companies in the world.   

Vanessa is focused on working with Pythian’s partners to deliver customers the best technologies, support, and outcomes. From ensuring Pythian’s technical team has all the right certifications and access to leading products, to building long-term relationships with industry leaders like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, SAP and Snowflake , Vanessa is all about making Pythian better and stronger.   

With over 30 years in marketing and business development, Vanessa has built her reputation on energy, excellence, and outstanding results.  For five years running, she has been recognized by CRN as one of the year’s Women of the Channel.

In her spare time, Vanessa pursues her passion for great food, wine, and artisan cheeses as an accredited Cheese Sommelier and Cordon Bleu-trained chef and equally so that of nature by spending time kayaking, scuba diving, boating and traveling.
