As Pythian’s Managing Director of Sales for the Americas, Ted Maslach plays a critical role in Pythian’s strategic growth by managing the Pythian Core Services and Cloud Transformation sales teams. Under Ted’s leadership, Pythian has gained some of its largest clients.
A career sales professional, Ted has more than 15 years of experience in sales, providing him with a deep understanding of the sales process from different client perspectives. Previous to Pythian, Ted held sales roles at Cognos, The Utility Company and at Allen Vanguard Technologies, Inc.
Since joining Pythian in 2009, Ted has consistently achieved and exceeded sales quotas. His contributions have been vital to Pythian’s year-over-year growth, leading to a remarkable 30% year-over-year growth in the early years.
Ted was a top sales representative at Pythian every year from 2010 to 2015. After a promotion to manage Canada / Central United States, that area became one of the company’s top regions. When the entire western region of the U.S. was added to his responsibilities, his team maintained the top area designation with a record amount of sales representatives reaching quota consistently.
Today, Ted and his team maintain a “customer first” mentality. They are committed to providing clients with a comprehensive experience to help their businesses transform and win using data and cloud to solve problems and, ultimately, achieve clients’ business goals
