Paul co-founded Pythian in 1997 and became CEO of the Company in 2005. His passion and foresight for using data and technology to drive business success has helped Pythian become a high-growth global company with over 400 employees and offices in North America, Europe and Asia. Paul is a strong proponent of technical excellence as well as diversity in the workplace. Prior to founding Pythian, Paul worked as a data scientist and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa. He was acknowledged as “Top 40 under 40” in 2011 by the Ottawa Business Journal in recognition of Pythian’s growth to that time.
Lori is a corporate director and independent financial and governance consultant. In 2012, she retired from partnership in Deloitte, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, after over 24 years of service, 16 as a partner. While there, she advised growth companies from start-up to multinationals and supported complex transactions, private and public equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions in Canada and the U.S. She currently serves as a board member on several boards, both public and private. Lori has a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University, is accredited as a CPA, CA in Canada and a CPA in the US, and has attained the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Gary is currently a Partner in the Wealth and Investment Management Practice of Capco, a global business and technology consulting firm. Previously, he was President of Addison Enterprises, a management consulting company, and prior to that he was Head of the Americas for Tech Mahindra, a leader in global outsourcing of IT services. He has over 25 years of experience across multiple disciplines in companies such as CGI and Star Data Systems, and has been recognized as one of “Canada’s Top 10” authorities in Information Technology / Business Process Outsourcing. He has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario.
Stacy is currently Vice President for the Corporate Accounts Business of Microsoft where she has held a number of leadership roles, most recently as the VP of the Enterprise and Partners Group for Canada. During her tenure with Microsoft, she has helped build a number of emerging businesses on cloud, data and communications in industries such as Banking, Communications, Healthcare and Retail. She has over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the tech sector and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from State University of New York in Geneseo.
Rob is an independent adviser to and investor in start-up technology firms, with over 20 years of experience in software industry finance, operations and M&A. Previously, he led M&A for IBM’s analytics business after having led the post-merger integration of Cognos into IBM. Rob started his software career with Object Technology International where he served as CFO and COO. He has accreditations as a CPA, CA and CMA and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
